The essence of the technology of cutting metal materials by flame is the process of burning iron heated to the ignition temperature in a stream of oxygen. The cut material is burned (combined) with the cutting oxygen to form oxides, which are blown in the form of liquid slag by the dynamic action of oxygen from the cutting point. Flame cutting is a cutting technology that is still widely used in various areas of production. Despite the increasing application of plasma and laser technologies in the field of cutting and material preparation, it still has its place, especially when cutting materials of larger thicknesses (above 50 mm).

During plasma or flame burning, the molten material flows and larger burrs are formed, which must be removed and, if necessary, the surface cleaned or deburred. For this purpose, we have a grinding and deburring machine and a blasting booth.
